Mikri Thalassa, a work for mandolins was performed by The Sydney International Mandolin Festival Orchestra conducted by Adrian Hooper in the GALA Concert which took place on the 12th January, part of the Sydney International Mandolin Festival.

Lament for Kosovo, Adagio for Strings  was performed by the Camerata of St John's led by violinist Brendan Joyce in St. John's Cathedral, Brisbane on the 15th February,  following a performance in St. Luke's Church, Toowoomba on the 14th February.    Camerata performed the work again  as part of the Via Crucis held on Good Friday, 21st March in St. John's Cathedral., Brisbane.

Poems From the Chinese, a cycle of four songs with instrumental interlude  was performed by the Brisbane based ensemble Collusion in the first of their series of concerts for 2008 Tales of the Adored, which took place in Saint Mary's,  Kangaroo Point on the 8th March.  A repeat performance was given in St. Luke's, Toowoomba on the 9th March.

Llament for Kosovo , in the original version for mandolins, was given a First Performance by the Providence Mandolin Orchestra in Hingham, MA, on the 5th April.    The Providence Orchestra performed the work again on dates June 29, and  July 2, in Cloitre st.Savy, Albi, France and Eglise Saint-Jerome, Toulouse, France.  Collaborating with the Het Consort, Director Alex Timmerman, they performed the piece on July 4 in the Buitenkerk, Kampen, Nederland and on July 5 in The Zuiderkerk, Zwolle, Nederland.

Towards the Psalms, a cycle of six songs for voice and piano  was performed on the 17th April, by soprano Maria Okunev and pianist Andrew Greene, in the Dickerson Gallery, Sydney.  The occasion was the presentation to Betty of the Pacific Opera Inaugural Vocal Writing Prize, a project developed by the Fellowship of Australian Composers, Inc., in association with Paicific Opera with generous donation by Ars Musica.  The cycle was performed again on the 13th July  by Maria Okunev and Jem Harding in their winning performance of an Australian Song, part of the 10th Mietta's Song Recital Award, Melbourne.

Lament for Kosovo, Adagio for Strings was performed by China Youth Philharmonic Orchestra on the 20th April, in the Forbidden City Concert Hall, Beijing.

From a Lake of Honey, for double bass and piano was performed by the Basso Moderno Duo, (Dr. Allan  Von Schenkel and Kristen Williamsfor whom the work was written)  on the following dates and venues:  7th March at the Charter Oak Cultural Centre, Hartford, CT;  25th March at the Academia de Muzica, Clug, Romania. 17th April at the Dam Hammarskjold Auditorium, United Nations. In This Garden, a cycle for voice and piano.  Texts: David Cox.  Was  performed by Marina Karagianni,  on 1st April, in Australia House, London.

The World Premiere performance of Betty's new work Gambar- Gambar Jawa...Images of Java , took place on Friday, 10th August, 2007 in the Conservatorium Theatre, Southbank, Brisbane.  Michael Morgan (pictured left)conducted the Conservatorium Chamber Orchestra and the soloists were mezzo soprano  Victoria Lambourn and baritone Shaun Brown.
